Consider the image. It is a suggested path of Hurricane Mathew – one that is becoming more likely every hour.
The image suggests Hurricane Mathew will strike Florida and then loop around for a second tour of the Eastern US within a few days.
THE IMAGE DOES NOT SAY THE PATH ABOVE IS FOR CERTAIN–THIS TIME. IT DOES MEAN THE PATH IS WITHIN THE REALM OF REASON.
As important, the image declares our climate is entering a regime foreign to our experience. This new climate framework is the result of anthropogenic forcing of the radiative balance. As more GHGs are pumped into the atmosphere energized weather events will become more common.
